A Ponto Urbano project
A stone's throw from the Mondego
Voluta is a residential building developed by Ponto Urbano, located in Coimbra. Spread over three floors, it comprises nine one- and two-bedroom apartments. There is also a commercial space on the ground floor.
Located at the intersection of Av. da Guarda Inglesa and Rua Coelho da Rocha, Voluta is next to the Mondego River and close to the main services and institutions.
The building's identity is inspired by its curved architecture. Based on its lines, the concept, naming, and other communication media were created, including the entire 3D modeling project.

NAMING
Voluta - A new way of experiencing tradition
With its curved architecture, Voluta recovers the historical and traditionalist DNA of the city of Coimbra. Voluta is “that which has a spiral shape,” an ornament that stands out on the capital of an ancient architectural column or on the head of a Portuguese guitar.
From the encounter between the past and tradition, the Voluta building is born. Just a few meters from the Mondego River, it reflects the roots of Coimbra and embodies history, tradition, and modernity.
EDITORIAL
From concept to plans, Voluta's Commercial Brochure reveals every detail of this building. Over 22 pages, the document covers topics such as “location” and other features of the project.
