Alavóo, a central building in Aveiro
Alavóo Residences is a residential building by real estate company Ponto Urbano, located in Alboi, one of Aveiro's most typical neighborhoods. With apartments from 1 to 3+1 bedrooms, this project is located in the city center, close to the estuary, parks, gardens and the main services and institutions.
The construction of Alavóo's identity went through an intense creative process. For the building, we created the concept, the naming and all the communication materials. We also made the 3D modeling of the interiors and exteriors.
Functional and straight-lined
NAMING
A tribute to Aveiro's roots
Inhabited by merchants and sailors, the Alboi neighbourhood was home to English, Irish and other nationality families. In the 19th century, the area adopted the "garden city" model, an English architectural influence in vogue at the time, considered intimate and organised.
History also gives rise to various theories surrounding the neighbourhood's current name. The word "Alavóo" supports one of them, as it would be the archaic form of "Grandfather". The typical swapping of "Vs" for "Bs" by the people of Aveiro transformed the word. From "Alavóo" it became "Alabóo", shortened to "Albó", which became "Albói".

The Alavóo Residences commercial brochure reflects the history and characteristics of the building.
With a design that matches the graphic line of the project, its 26 pages detail the topics of “location”, “lifestyle” and “building”. In each of them the experience and benefits of living in Alavóo, a multi-family project with a central location in the city of Aveiro.
In a fusion of pictures from the project and Aveiro, this brochure offers potential clients a glimpse of what it's like to live in a place marked by history and elegance.
